OLYMPICS

I had the privilege of being a member of the digital production team for the Summer Olympics in London, Rio, and the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.

LAYOUT

The key to working on an Olympic event lies in mastering the art of layout. The creatives are inherently intricate with multiple layers. In each case, I repurposed the native work file to create digital assets for the website, emails, banners, and advertisements. Attention to detail was crucial, as even a minor error in scaling could impact the overall look and feel of the creative.

PRODUCTION

The Olympics were thrilling, and the production pace was both rapid and anticipated. Familiarity with the specific sport being worked on and staying informed through daily standups were beneficial. Taking ownership of projects was key. Knowing the appropriate formats for different contexts and optimizing graphics effectively were also valuable skills for delivering the best presentations.

The CONNECTED EXPERIENCE

I had the privilege of contributing to the connected experience for Apple TV. It was a fantastic learning opportunity, delving into the intricacies of designing for a high-definition viewport and collaborating closely with Apple.

AFTER EFFECTS

For the connected experience (Apple TV) I was tasked to find a way for the designers to created mini clips that would load in Apple TV quickly and provide more interactivity.

RIO

During the Rio Olympics, our roles were assigned. I had the sole responsibility for producing web page layouts, which included creating responsive viewports for mobile devices.
